If you prefer feet firmly planted on the ground, you’ll be rewarded with everything from a visit to the former home of Malaysian royalty and a 500-plus outlet shopping mall to being tempted at every turn by the capital’s famous food, with Little India or the famous Jalan Imbi hawker street for the famous Malaysian delicacies. You’ll find somehow that you’re always looking up too – at the 88-storey Petronas Twin Towers perhaps, or the Blue Mosque, whose minarets are the tallest in the world. But for a bird’s eye view, nothing beats the 276-metre-high KL Tower Observatory Deck or even a helicopter tour – your finger will never leave the “click” button on your camera.
