Itineraries

Day 1

Amritsar

Arrival at Amritsar. On arrival free time for relaxation.

Day 2

Amritsar - City Tour

Visit Golden temple - a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. The tank and the temple have been a source of inspiration to the Sikh community ever since its foundation. Akal Takht - the seat of the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, the religious governing body of the Sikhs. Jallianwala bagh and visit Indo - Pak Wagah border in the evening.

Day 3

Amritsar - Dharamshala

Arrive at Dharamshala in the afternoon. Visit Dal Lake, Dalai Lama Monastery and Bhagsunag Temple. Enjoy shopping at Macleodganj.

Day 4

Dharamshala

Visit Jwalaji Temple at Jwalamukhi and Tapovan Chinmay Mission at Siddhabadi.

Day 5

Dharamshala - Dalhousie

Depart to Dalhousie, enroute visit Kangra Temple. Arrive at Dalhousie. Free time for shopping or relaxation in the evening.

Day 6

Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie

Visit Khajjiar, which is surrounded by dense deodar forests and has a Khajjiar lake at its centre with a floating island, a small temple with a golden spire and Golf course. See Ajit Singh Smarak and Satadhara Sparkling springs.

Day 7

Dalhousie - Katra

Arrive at Katra. Free time for relaxation.

Day 8

Katra - Vaishnodevi - Katra

Early morning trek 14 + 14 kms to Mata Vaishnodevi temple. Note: Doli, Pony or Helicopter charges to be borne by guest.

Day 9

Katra - Jammu - Departure

Departure to Jammu. Board the train for your hometown. Tour concludes.
