Itineraries

Day 1

Delhi - Jammu

Pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel. Check in the hotel. After wash and change full day local city tour of Jammu covering Sri Raghunath Temple, Peer Khoh Cave, Bahu Fort, Bagh-E-Bahu. Overnight in the hotel at Jammu.

Day 2

Jammu - Pahalgam - 280 kms / 9 hrs drive

After breakfat, leave of Pahalgam the 'Valley of Shepherds'. On arrival in Pahalgam, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy the surrounding beauty night hotelt in pahalgam.

Day 3

Pahalgam - Srinagar

Pahalgam - Srinagar - 100 kms / 3 hrs drive After breakfast, half day local city tour at Pahalgam, later drive for Srinagar enroute visit the Awantipura ruin, an 1100-year old temple built by King Awantivarman. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On arrival into Srinagar check into your House Boat. Evening at Nishat Bagh. Shalimar Bagh, Jamia Masjid, Pir Dastir Shrine and Sri Partap Singh Museum. Evening at leisure and overnight in houseboat/hotel at Srinagar.

Day 4

Srinagar

After breakfast, full day local city tour of Srinagar covering Nishat Bagh. halimar Bagh, Jamia Masjid, Pir Dastir Shrine and Sri Partap Singh Museum. Evening at Dai lake, Shikara ride and overnight in houseboat/hotel at Srinagar.

Day 5

Srinagar - Gulmarg - 60 kms / 2 hrs drive

After breakfast, full day excursion tour to Gulmarg - the 'Meadow of Flowers' is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Visit one of the world's highest golf course. Later come back to Srinagar. Overnight in the hotel/houseboat at Srinagar.

Day 6

Srinagar - Sonamarg - 90 kms / 3 hrs drive

After breakfast, full day excursion to Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold). One can also enjoy there with ice sking and pony ride. Later come back to Srinagar and overnight in the hotel at Srinagar.

Day 7

Srinagar - Katra - 280 kms / 9/10 hrs drive

Early morning depart for Katra. Lunch will be en route in a local restaurant/dhaba. On arrival into Katra check into your hotel. Overnight in the htoel at Katra.

Day 8

Trek to Vaishno Devi - 14 kms by walk one way

After breakfast, trek to mata Vaishno Devi bhawan (14 kms trek, 06 hrs by walk or helicopter facility from Katra to Bhawan is available or one can also go by horse ridding or by planquins). Evening, Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji and after darshan proceed for Bhairon Ji Darshan. Darshan of Bhairon Ji optional. If one wants to go there one can and 3 kms more trek from Vishno Devi Bhavan. Later start walking towards Katra.Overnight in the at katra

Day 9

Katra - Amritsar - 260 / 6/7 hrs drive

After breakfast drive for Amritsar. On arrival check in the hotel, later proceed the India Pakistan Wagha Border for Retreat Ceremony. Come back to the hotel. Overnight in the hotel at Amritsar.

Day 10

Amritsar

After breakfast local city tour of Amritsar covering the Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh, Dugra Temple, Lal Devi Temple and Ranjit Singh Panaroma . Later in the evening transfer to Amaritsar railway station.
